We are Misty Moon Farms!

We grow Local

We currently grow on 2 properties in Denton, County. We have a 15,000 square foot greenhouse where we grow year-round, and 3 acres of field production dedicated to permaculture and biodynamics. We grow fruits, vegetables, and raise ducks for eggs!

We are Fresh

We are a team of young and fresh individuals who are pushing the envelope with how we grow food. We heavily incorporate permaculture, biodynamics, and spirituality into our 3 acre market style garden.

Allison

Master Farm apprentice

Hi I’m Allison and the majority of my interests revolve around being outdoors. I’m passionate about gaining new skills and knowledge that I can apply to my life, working with my hands, and growing spiritually. What I love most about farming is that it’s truly fulfilling work and that it gives me an opportunity to connect with the Earth on a deeper level. Nature never ceases to amaze me and it’s inspiring to discover all the different ways we can work with it. In 10 years from now I’d love to have started a business of my own that’s centered around making a positive environmental impact while also encouraging others to live more sustainably. Additionally, I hope that I can touch the lives of the people that I meet in a way that inspires them to expand their consciousness and empowers them to choose the life they desire to live.

Daniel

Employee

Hey my name is Daniel! I’m very passionate about my health, and being physically active. Some activities I like are working out, hiking, skateboarding, and playing guitar. I also enjoy reading/listening to audiobooks, and learning new things. What I like about farming is being able to be outdoors, and connected with Earth. Plus, it’s also a great benefit knowing where your food comes from! I’m not sure where exactIy I will be in 10 years. I trust that I will be guided where I am suppose to be. All I know is that it will definitely involve traveling, farming, and working on environmental, and animal causes.
